Thirteenth anniversary of Martha’s ascent into heaven

The anniversary of Marta Bellavista’s ascension to heaven is approaching. This year too, a Mass will be celebrated in Viserba and one in Milan for the occasion.

In Viserba it will be celebrated on Saturday 7 October at 5.30 pm, at the parish of San Vicinio, (Sacramora) in via U. Giordano, 2 Rimini.

In Milan it will be held on October 10th at the “Maria Madre della Vita” chapel at the San Raffaele hospital in via Oggettiva, 60 (the church is near the emergency room), at 7.15 pm. Don Francesco Ferrari will celebrate.

We invite all of Marta’s friends around the world to join our prayer in any way they can.

The English translation of Marta’s writings “I Want It All” is available!

The English edition of Voglio tutto (I Want It All) can be bought on Itaca’s catalogue (and is also purchasable on Amazon). The text will also be available for purchase at the Meeting of Rimini, in the bookshop area.

The reasons for this additional editorial effort lie in the requests of various friends living in England referred to Giorgio, Marta’s father, and for their desire to spread to the whole world the words of a girl who continue to move people because of the energy for life which she expresses.

Also in relation to the recent events which concern different spheres (Charlie Gard, terrorism, new challenges), Marta’s “fight” to affirm life, a life in truth, points to a chief path, a path of certainty for man today, often confused with “false myths”. No illusions, no hiding behind values, however true, for our tradition, – and neither hiding in the appearance of progress -: only Christ is He who is able to save and allow us to triumph in our lives each instant.
The whole world needs the message which Marta’s words witness with great effectiveness and simplicity. This is why Marta will reach England and hopefully Ireland, USA, Canada … and the rest of the world!
Our site therefore has been made bigger by becoming bilingual (heartfelt thanks go to Sara Sorensen). With her help, in the coming weeks we will make the testimonies available for our English friends who want to get to know Marta.

Incontro testimonianza su Marta Bellavista e presentazione del libro a Viserba

Domenica 22 novembre alle ore 17, presso il centro parrocchiale Edimar, parrocchia di San Vicinio a Viserba di Rimini (via U. Giordano, 2  Viserba di Rimini), si terrà un incontro – testimonianza su Marta Bellavista e la presentazione del libro Voglio tutto, che raccoglie i suoi scritti.

Saranno presenti il curatore del libro Emanuele Polverelli e il padre di Marta, Giorgio Bellavista.

Il parroco, don Giuliano Renzi, che peraltro celebrò i funerali di Marta, nell’invito ha inserito queste due sottolineature:

L’idea di pubblicare il libro è nata quando una dottoressa, leggendo l’articolo di una rivista che riportava il dialogo di Marta con il padre, gli scrisse: «Fate conoscere la storia di questa ragazza a tutti. Può aiutare i nostri figli a vivere».

Il vescovo di Rimini, Francesco Lambiasi, ha inserito Marta in una ideale «squadra con tutti i santi riminesi», insieme al beato Alberto Marvelli, chiedendo loro di fare «il possibile e anche l’impossibile per accendere in tanti cuori dei nostri giovani la voglia di imparare ad amare».

Presentazione di Voglio tutto a Ca’ di Sola (Castelvetro – Mo)

Il libro Voglio tutto, che raccoglie gli scritti di Marta Bellavista e che tanto ha colpito uomini e donne di tutte le età e condizioni (6mila copie vendute), verrà presentato  sabato 21 novembre alle ore 21   presso il circolo ANSPI della Parrocchia della B.V. Immacolata di Lourdes a Ca’ di Sola di Castelvetro di Modena, via Modena, 133 a.

Saranno presenti il curatore del libro  Emanuele Polverelli e il padre di Marta, Giorgio Bellavista.
